The Secret to making the Yamaha NS-10s sound Good is to run them using a 
crown 2400 amp.
I have tried many amps over the years  and I always hated the NS-10's   
,but a friend told me about using the 2400.  and I thought I bought New  
speakers.. BTW  Yes I have a Full 24 track studio In the house.
at my studio In CT  I have the NS-10's  auratones,Sentury 100's  and a 
set of Urei's
 Each has their own Eq settings to reference the Room
