Someone here a week or two ago mentioned the "legendary WBZ signal" into 
Chicago or words to that effect with regard to a local station being 
licensed to 1030 in Vernon Hills IL.  Just wanted to let him know that I 
checked 1030 last night and the night before and WBZ still bombs in holding 
its own between KDKA and WHO with an almost local sounding signal.  The 
station in Vernon Hills is completely inaudible here in St. Charles.
