Ask yourself which one has the greatest impact on our future. I see
guessing which station is more powerful is trivia. If everyone
explained how it got to be powerful it would be technical. Include
lots of formulas.

My opinion on IBOC has graced these pages many times before and years ago.
For once I was and am for the government (FCC) mandating a system. IBOC,
IBUZ, STEREO FUZ, whatever. Then technology will evolve around it. It would
also relieve all the licensing and technology purchases reducing the overall
costs.
That is not going to happen. Neither is beating the same horse going to
change it.
I do agree lets get it on and allow all stations to operate nighttime
IBOC. Some stations may have to buy it IBOC to have a few listeners after the
radios get into the market place. The FCC and the amount of interference will
push a decision much quicker if we go ahead and get it over, turn it on.
