Two things.
One, I found no comments that Mac's are not immune, but did find a comment
that they are.
Two, I find it very hard to believe that the Mac, a system based on BSD-UNIX,
could have anything like a "kernel extension".
That's more a Windows thing, although I guess you *could* call a linux module
by that name, though it's nearly impossible to compile a module that will load
on anything other than the box the kernel was originally compiled on, and even
then it will not work if the box has compiled any other kernel in the meantime.
