Summer 1932 edition of White's radio Log shows WFLA/WSUN share time on 620
with 500 watts. WFLA operated by the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce, WSUN
by the St. Pe34te Chamber of Commerce. Weather forecasts on those
stations alway clear, sunny, high in the eighties with pleasant sea breeze
:-)
RCA Radiotron directory copyrighted 1930 lists the two stations with 2500
watts. This directory also has a picture of a young Milton Cross (who I
remember from college days as the voice of the Texaco Metropolitian Opera
and the Saturday morning cartoon hours on ABC TV) as well as the first
John Gambling of WOR.
