Good question but I think the answer is obvious and therefore I would
assume it applies for most cases. I've often seen situations where
someone will knowingly do what they are not supposed to do and run on
the premise that, "I will do what I want and then ask for forgiveness
later". Personally, I prefer to play by the rules rather than to see
how far I can bend them.
