This is yet another of Saul Levine's circle-jerks.

With KGA going DA-2 into a terribly redesigned array, night operation at San
Rafael's 1510 became feasible, provided the COL was changed to Piedmont, and a
"first night service" was claimed.

Days, the pattern sends all the power directly towards the north tower of the
Golden Gate Bridge, due west of the station's downtown Oakland rooftop site.

Nights, the pattern is distorted so that Piedmont, its new COL and due east
of the site, has a lobe, but the real target market, S.F., due east, gets the
better of the two main lobes.

Operations on 1510 from this site entails protection of: 1480 (notified, but
apparently dark), 1490, 1500, 1510 (of course, it's a Class A), 1520 and 1530,
with most considerations going to 1490, 1500 and 1510.

The "fifth tower" is simply a cable dropped from another cable strung between
two of the existing four vertical radiators.

Typical of Saul's sloppy "buy ... build ... sell" mentality.
