[BC] Question About Small Market Radio

Hello..
 
I know this probably isn't the BEST place to ask this, but I couldn't  really 
think of a better place. Apologies in advance.
 
Where is a good place to find out about on-air type openings at small  
market/town radio stations? Maybe I'm grasping at straws here and am completely  
wrong, but it seems stations in unrated towns and areas don't necessarily  
utilize things such as AllAccess, Radio World magazines and BNet  Classifieds.
 
What do smaller stations do when they have an opening?

For someone  who loves small market radio and desires to be part of a 
community involed radio  station, where's the best place for me to look?
