Due to the cost of fax paper, ink, toner, film and then the copying and
distribution I
started using 602 Lan Suite from http://www.software602.com/ . It's free
for 5 or less
users. Put it on a computer with a modem or two and let it receive faxes
and place them
in mailboxes for your staff. Add the account to the folks e-mail
programs. You can
send any document from your computer by printing to the fax server. It
also does a
lot of other stuff. We've been using it for 4 or 5 years and it's saved
us loads of money.
We've also used it a time or two as our dial-up Internet connection when
our broad-band
had trouble.
