I doubt anyone is going to file complaints about anyone until it 
begins to negatively affect sales. Remember, it's the industry that's 
pushing this. Not engineers but owners and Managers. To file a 
complaint is an admission that you were wrong. The higher up you go, 
the less likely that's going to happen.

Drop in sales and drop in stock price are the most significant 
motivating factors, since engineering seems to be on board with this 
or they're in the same boat as programmers. Complain about it and 
lose your job.
