I'm at CBS Master Control in NY. I'm reasonably sure that if there was a
better way to finish on schedule, considering everybody's concerns, we'd
be doing it. Since we carry up to 4 early games (starting at 1 PM) and 4
late games (starting around 4 PM) when they run over we end up running
multiple networks throughout evening prime time. I've seen as many as
three different regions (not including the West Coast), each running
slightly different.
I *think* though that Sports tries hard to get them to line up closely,
sometimes we only have to run one network.
