If Dave Hultsman on this list still has contact with Nestor Quesa, AFAIK
Sr. Quesa would be the only surviving TX engineer of the 1930 border
blasters who would know for sure.
***************
Bob Nestor died many years ago. I don't recall the year.
I have been also trying to get info on the Continental Model 101, first 50
kW. AM that was sold by CE to WINQ in Seffner (Tampa) Florida. This
transmitter was suppossedly the daytime transmitter for XERA.
Any of you guy in the Tampa area know where we can round up some photos or
interviews regarding that transmitter, I know Phil Scott down there he
remembers seeing it at one time.
I forwarded your post to Willie Mitchell and he said that Mr. Branch was
dead also.
Dave
