I'm sure it was innocent. He was trying to infuse the love of God
into you. like Jimmy Swaggart trying to convert the prostitutes in
his motel room. You simply misread the purity of his intentions.

I recall working at a place (will remain nameless) where the General
Manager and Sales Manager (both married and aggressively Christian)
required female employees to release their tension for them on a
regular basis. There really was a casting couch.

Today, that would have been the ticket to a lawsuit. At WOR there was
a wonderful woman who just inspired me to want to give her a hug. As
a manager I couldn't. On the day she left I told her I'd been wanting
to do it for a long time. I hugged her goodbye. She returned the hug.
We were close friends but had to keep a professional distance. There
was nothing sexual in our affection for each other. She was just good
people. She was almost as sarcastic as I am. The station lost a
treasure when she left.
