If that accountant is also an attorney...

In a situation my family had a number of years ago, the accountant was not 
allowed to speak with the IRS without the attorney present.  We later found 
out that was a very prudent decision.  The IRS was phishing for someone to 
cough up nearly $300K in back payroll taxes in a company the family was 
involved in which went toes up.
