I recall Paul Brown, he who founded the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati 
Bengals, speaking of the future of football saying something like this, 
"When the old guys who loved the business are gone, it will be just a 
business." We see that in radio, and yes, football. Look what has happened 
to the 49ers.

Even though I prefer working for myself, as I have most of the decades of 
my life, I have found the 'job search' exercise in radio to have been the 
rudest experience I could have imagined. Hmmm .... maybe I'll show up in 
their respective studios in a dark suit, ask to see the Public File, spend 
a looooong time looking at it and ask for a copy of every page. Hmmmm .....
