KTLA had the first local live color, but not the first Videotape. KTTV 
had that honor. Still owned by Times-Mirror at that time, IIRC.

One thing that impressed me about KTLA's film presentations was it 
insisted on 35mm prints, where available. Second in the market in 35mm 
was KHJ. Third was KNXT. These being locally-originated film 
presentations, of course, not network.
