I appreciate that anything that interrupts the picture is bad.  I just 
try to mentally separate TX breakup from any ongoing coding artifact 
issue. Both are bad, together its worse. 

Here is a bigger question, though, how is the video actually being 
produced?  There is a common broadcast center that supports the whole 
world. Most camera feeds are pool feeds. In the SD world, this would all 
be native PAL.  I would seem logical that the HD would be 1080i/50, 
there is still some transcoding required.  We also do not know what 
amount of compression was used on the satellite link back to the US. 
Lots of bits and pieces involved that are potential problems.
