They have both AES and analog interface boxes that can handle up to 8
high quality conversions per box. Really cool system. Ideally, you extend
the audio net all the way to the Tx and put an AES conversion there, but
that starts to run into big bucks for the STL/TSL radios that can handle
the low jitter rate. Needs utility carrier grade radios, but for a new
plant build out, it is IMHO clearly the way of the future because changes
after the initial build are essentially in software unless new "control"
studios are added.
