You are so right. Once audio is reduced to data the marks and spaces
all look the same.

That was my original point. Studios will become computer shops.
Only in the transmission side will broadcast engineering remain
a specialized field - IOW discrete from computer technology,
although Mario Hieb will be making a presentation at NAB that
says even this may not hold true. <g>
