I have been studying for the MCSE (Microsoft) , but it was mentioned here 
that the CCNP was more valuable. Is the lesser CCNA worth anything?

In our profession, my favorites disciplines are IT and TX technology. My 
work at X-Star was ~70% IT, so it is not a migration to something I do not 
enjoy.
