When WMTS-AM (now WMGC) in Murfreesboro, TN was a daytimer back in the
60's & 70's, they used at portion of Ernest Tubbs, "may the good lord
bless and keep you" song. The phrase (as I remember) went like
this......"until tomorrow morning at 6 AM....may the good lord bless and
keep you, until we meet again......song faded.....dead
silence.....carrier then went off.

Subject: Re: [BC] Sign-off tunes

Ar WQMA I had a simple sign off...

it was a 4 1/2 minute long Mp3 file.....

A station liner voiced by previous owner charlie kendall, followed by a
90
second full information sign off, containing our license and contact
information, followed mby Whitney Houston singing The National Anthem at
a baseball
game...

I used bed music under my voice during the sign off. What was it you
use? 2
minutes worth of The Price Is Right theme song.
