No argument there - nor would I argue that it would make any economic
sense in this day and age to keep running music with a live jock all
night long, not when Fort Wayne probably has more FM stations per capita
than any market in the country except perhaps Cape Cod in the winter. If
I owned the station, I'd be inclined to plug in to Coast-to-Coast AM, too.
My point was simply that as long as WOWO still covers the immediate Fort
Wayne area, which it does, nobody outside its new nighttime coverage
range is really missing anything they can't get in two dozen other spots
on the dial. The WOWO we fought to save is gone, and it would have been
gone pretty quickly even if WOWO were still 50 kW at night. That's all...
