[BC] Goodbye Local Radio-pass me the Kleenex

Recovered as in audience share and revenue. One of my best friends is
their general sales manager. While he doesn't speak in specifics, he
does relate that they are doing better than they have in years. Besides
a soft place in the heart, revenue is a good indicator of success.
In another post, my friend Mr. Fybush bemoaned the fact that WOWO runs
syndicated programming nights and weekends. While I understand his
point, I'd like to point out that many stations in WOWO's situation do
the same, with success. Think about it this way, when you listen nights
and weekends, do you hear PSA filler or local spots? I hear a lot of
local spots. Someone finds value in the station. And they are willing to
spend money to prove it.
