[BC] C'monna my house and let's get an IBUZ on

In fairness, I've been listening to some of the Clear Channel HD2 channels on
the Internet. I like a lot of what I'm hearing. Lots of music that's out of
the mainstream (Dare I say a flashback to FM in the 1960's?), very few
announcements and no commercials. If this was to last, I'd almost consider
buying a HD radio.

Two problems though. First off, the stations' HD2 I've been listening to are
in Houston, San Francisco, Alberquerque and Atlanta. Though they come in fine
on the Internet, I don't think the HD radio would pull them in here in
Providence.

Second, I have to think to myself is is worth spending hundred$ of dollars for
a HD radio when I know that what's on HD2 now will soon be just like what's on
the main channel.

After all, just like FM was, it's just a matter of time....

So What is the reaction the general public has for HD Radio.
My bet is HD radio catches on just like AM Stereo did...
