We are lucky enough to have 2 Sony Series 1 units. They've been great
except for the modems, which are extremely sensitive to voltage spikes.
We've lost both of them. Popping on an external USR Sportster modem
has worked great.

Someday we'll get them (via WiFi) and the Series 2 hooked up to the
broadband connection, but I live in a 30 year old house that wasn't
wired up with Cat5 from the start, the floorplan is too funky to easily
do after the fact, and I've not yet gotten a wireless bridge.

Funny when you think about it... the "Internet guy" with a bunch of
modems at home all dialing up. Guess it's like a carpenter's house or a
mechanic's car... the last to get the love. :)
