         Funny .. I met Irv Joel a few times
         and found him to be pleasant.
         We even discussed the custom console I had
         built here, before we installed his box.

         I don't think we had any arguments over
         processing ... but the owner of the station
         used to come down every day and ask
         me if the meters were not banging the
         right pin.

         Finally ended up "recalibrating" the
         studio mod monitor.  I never had
         a complaint after that.

         sigh.
