Reason for that, if the same symptoms are exhibited with a different OS,
( and I expect they will be ) it's a hardware problem, most likely the
computer end.
Here's a wild one.....
Try the mouse on the keyboard port, and vice versa.
Normally, it's not workable at all, but does the machine do ANYTHING
when the mouse is sending "random" key presses, and the keyboard
is sending "random" mouse movements ?
