[BC] Remote damage

I had one remote guy figure out how to apply 120vac to the 12vdc connection
on a Marti.
Doesn't work that well.
Just yesterday an Installer here at work smoked a power strip and an ADC
1400 rack mount UPS with. 240vac on the new duplex receptacle that was
just installed this week by a licensed electrician. Both White and Black
wires were connected to a 20A 2 pole breaker. Don't know what that guy was
thinking.
Looks like the power strip over voltage protection worked.
Oddly the very expensive ATM Switch in the rack powered right up and ran
just fine.
Seems the power supply on that thing is rated for 90 - 240v 50/60 cycle AC.
