Assuming that you can even understand the support personnel from India reading
from scripts...

Their support used to be great - now it absoultely sucks...

It comes to about $30 a month with all the taxes included. My issue
is with the IBUZ-like hash noise I have on the line. I've had it from
day one with two different boxes, two different cable systems in two
different locations. They claim it's from WiFi access points and
wireless phones. I've disconnected all of the above and the noise is
still there.

The system won't pass data (FAX and TIVO) at speeds greater than 9600
on a good day. Usually 7200. I wanted to use WinFax and had to force
the modem speed down and it still kept dropping and redialing.
Version 7.2 of Tivo will now work wirelessly. The earlier firmware
wouldn't allow wireless and wouldn't let the Tivo modem drop that
low. Tivo tech support told me to bring the unit to a friend who had
a landline for initial setup. Vonage tech support told me the FAX
lines would only support FAX machines. They couldn't understand why
I'd ever need a modem.
