[BC] Saved from the dumpster!

I had a guy call me at the station one day and ask if there was any old junk
that I wanted to get rid of.
It immediately occurred to me, The AM Transmitter Store room, where old junk
goes to die.

I told him Yes, enough to fill several pickups.

He and two others arrived at the AM transmitter on a Wednesday afternoon.
They hauled off old cart machines, reel-reels, piles of old carts and cart
racks, old consoles AM and FM Transmitter monitors and and lot of assorted
junk that had wound up "Stored" at the AM TX.
They made a real dent in the Junk room.

They came back about a week latter and hauled off what was left of a Collins
20V that had not been operable in at least 10 years.

That sure beats filling dumpsters, and its much less expensive and labor
intensive on my behalf...
