Rich,  It depends on how much you value your old number. Is it really worth 
porting? Sunrocket lets you pick one of their numbers plus a second number for 
free. Port the old one as your second # and it wont matter how long it takes. 
You'll still have service with your new main #. Vonage charges an extra $3 a 
month for extra numbers. I find the Sun Rocket router much easier to configure 
and work with. Very good tech support and more free features. Vonage is 
quickly finding it tough going to keep growing rapidly in that biznuss. Churn rates 
are rising a lot. Unless they keep very cutting edge and updated with better 
and cheaper new features, they will not grow and be successful long term. Altho 
they got in early and are the largest Voip right now, they are losing money. 
All Voip outfits are. There will be a lot of consoilidation in this sector 
over the next few years. Competition is very cutthroat.
