 But for the lawyers, or maybe because of them, I smell an emerging
 market for a "professional" ripper.

 *Could* it be used to "steal" music ?
 Sure !
 Will this potential cause the total destruction of the recording industry,
 and all of it's world-wide markets ?

 It's not a question of "can we" it's a question of "how" ?

 Methinks that if the likes of Clear Channel would wish to throw their
 financial and legal weight into legit use of legitimately acquired material
 for legit uses, that there would likely materialize an exception.

 Obviously, the workings of the RIAA make no sense to many of us.
 They do put out a damn nice buggy whip, though.
