[BC] Digest Readers, Please Note

As you know, the Digest summarizes the posts to BROADCAST when we get
around 30 kB or so of messages.

A couple of digest readers have mentioned to me that they have been
seeing three and four digests on some days and that this puts a
strain on their "inbox." (While my "income" is around 650 emails a
day, on average, and three or four emails don't even "measure" here,
I want to be as sympathetic as possible. )

Others have commented that spacing the Digests out is good because
they don't have to wait a whole day for "some" of the posts.

In order to gauge demand, I am asking, if you are a Digest reader, to
send me a brief note with your preference.

         1. would you prefer all the messages in one BIG Digest?
         2. would you prefer the system to stay as it is?

To reduce the load on the list, please send to
barry at oldradio.com If you merely hit "reply" it will bounce.

If there are any non-Digest readers, you along with the Digesters
should note that when you do not trim your quotes (that is, when you
quote entire posts - especially to add one or two lines), it adds one
or two Digests a day, essentially of excessive quotes.

Thanks for your help/thoughts on how we can improve the list.
