that sounds like a pretty good deal; around $55 per 500' for bare no.10. to
me, not bad at all. there is an advantage to buying quantity. I heard
this morning that if you walk into home depot and buy 500' of insulated
solid no.14 it will set u back $43. there is of course a home depot markup
you probably aren't paying.

I just had to buy 3 5000' spools of #10 bare for a ground system job, I
didn't have time to shop it, but I ended up paying right at $550 per spool
from Harris.
