Alan,

That's a pretty good price.  Harris buys large quantities 
of copper and then holds the price thru that 
inventory.  Then when they buy more the price changes.  I 
sometimes get a much better price from them on small 
quantities.  They often don't have much in stock.

Copper distributors adjust price daily based on the 
previous days market price.  Or at least they did till 
recently.  Now they seem to be splitting the difference 
between the $4+ high last month and the days market price.
