This is basically how a new transmitter for the group leading revenue maker
was presented.

A new RED DRS/Continental 816 series now graces the KLTG transmitter site,
which replaced a very tired Harris FM20H2 35 years old.

<Knock on wood> In just over a year of operation, we've had one off-air
failure of the DRS. (Exciter PA voltage regulator failed). Fortunately, I
had another exciter and was off-air for the time it took to drive to the
site. Interestingly, it also blew the fuse for the main cabinet fan during
a power off/on incident. But, since the room is a/c and sealed, this didn't
take it off air.
