Rich, you are taking this out of context.
My comments about it being only walls and floors
was directed towards the following statement that

When looked at that quote, the fact that the building is going to be
torn down has nothing to do with the USA becoming a "third world
country intellectually and technologically."
That is the point that I am stating is incorrect, and that the building
has nothing to do with that.
I believe in renovating older buildings for further use - and my business
plan
shows that. I have a number of former AT&T buildings (among others )
from 112 square feet to 45K square feet, and my prime objective is to
renovate those to other purposes.
