A little OT but in the mid-80s I was employed as a 911 dispatcher in a
countywide call center in IL. One year during the Christmas holidays
someone downstate used the bells on the statewide law enforcement TTY to
send 11 bells properly spaced (3-3-5) to sound like the tune Jingle
Bells. The message was sent statewide several times. It was quite
amusing. But I heard that someone had their access privileges revoked
and lost their job over it.
