[BC] NYC IBUZ on 660-880

That's interesting, Kent.

There's a station here that's about 40 miles away. 30 kHz from him is a local
that's running IBOC. The IBOC bleeds over into the other well within its 2
mV/m contour. You hear a constant hiss that's about 15 db down. It makes the
other station downright uncomfortable to listen to.
The irony is that the IBOC station splatters well into it's own digital
carrier, likely making the digital useless. Of course, his other big AM puts
out a harmonic so strong that you can clearly listen to it 10 miles away.

Just curious.... who, if any are they interfering with?

I turned up a 920 AM on HD a week ago, and was still able to pick up 890 WLS
100+ miles away, even when I was in the shadows of the towers of 920. Like
wise, when WSCR (670) and WGN (720) were running HD I was able to get WLW
(400+ miles away) even in the day time. I cant imagine stations being close
spaced to WCBS or WFAN.
