[BC] Another public station bites the dust

Having played the classical formats for more than 20 minutes I can tell you
that executed correctly and playing the right music at the right time is
essential. You're correct. I'm happy to say we played it right when I was
P.D. and my M.D. took care of touching things up we pulled the biggest
numbers WRR ever had in its 50 years. (If I may brag for a moment). Now, as
for my home town and D.C. it's like shooting fish in a barrel. You can put a
carrier on and play Fur Elise 24 hours a day and become 4th in the market.
They are just those kinds of markets. There are quite a number of snobs to
add to those who like it anyway ergo the big numbers. Other markets, like
Dallas, you have to work for your ratings. I know, SF is my home town. To a
certain degree Seattle has that same sort of air as does Boston.
