Mike,
Does the FAA have a site where if you put in the tower reg. number to
determine tower of lighting requirements?

OK...check the registration as well. If it too doesn't require marking,
then you're good to go. In the end, make sure that:
1) Your license doesn't require marking; and
2) Your tower registration doesn't require marking.
Since you have a tower registration #, you should have access to the FAA
study and determination letter which specifies the marking requirements
if
there are any.
