I will be leaving for Brazil on Tuesday (7/4) to be a referee in the
WRTC2006 in
conjunction with the IARU contest to be held from 1200Z (7am CDT) Saturday,
July 8 until 1200Z (7am CDT)Sunday, July 9.

I will probably be on the air from the headquarters hotel between Wednesday
and Friday and possibly Sunday and Monday after the contest....check the DX
cluster for PY/NF4A.

The WRTC teams will be using call signs assigned from the block PW5A to PW5Z
and PT5A to PT5Z. Work as many as you can! The exchange while working any
stations in the contest either worldwide or WRTC stations would be 59 +IARU
ZONE or
on cw 599 +IARU ZONE. Remember, the IARU zonesare different from the CQ
zones.

Some "HQ" stations will give you the exchange (example W1AW) 59 ARRL....or
from the HQ station in Great Britain would be 59 RSGB (Radio Society of
Great Britain)

Get in the contest and work as many hams around the world as you can.
