It has EVERYTHING to do with processing!  I have heard HD stations 
that sound terrible!  I have heard HD stations that will knock your socks off.

to your question was a DaySequerra M4, but rather low bit rate coded audio.
No matter how good you process the signal before transmission, at the end of
the you you can only fit so much s--- in a 5lb bag, or 48kbps
