I hope it's not necessary, although the kids might find it "adventuresome".

My daughter-in-law and the kids (3 little darlings) went through this
earlier
in the fall when the Seattle area got pounded. But, they were on high ground
and power wasn't out for long.

Son is in Iraq, and isn't worrying about flooding so much.....
