Thanks Jim...good stuff! Good company Having done sessions with condenser 
mics and having used a U87
for my voice for years I still believe (my ears have told me) you can't get 
that warm, rich yet sparkly
sound from a dynamic mic. As for the abuse part of the article I don't 
believe I would use
the U87 as a hammer. :)
