Well... for a total 180 degree opposite experience, just travel the I-95
corridor thought CT. You'll find none.

There's WIHS in Middletown, the only full-power FM on 104.9, and WFIF the
Daytimer on 1500 in Milford, CT. Other than that, there is a Spanish Christian AM
on 690, WADS in New Haven, and a Spanish-networked FM in the northwestern
corner of the state. A tiny LPFM up in the Ledyard area rounds-out the total to
*Four* in the *whole state*.

Out of 100 *listenable* signals on my radio, I can count 3 with any form of
consistent Christian programming.

Thus, the great need, and my strong impression that the format will work...
if done right! My 20 years of experience have shown me that the needs of this
area are unique. Two stations that tried the harder side of Christian A/C
failed. When I tried to "nudge" my format in that direction, it was immediately met
with resistance.
