Craig, I've been there, and I feel your pain. BUT.....you have to make sure
your "old friend" understands that this is not personal, it's business. If
he is any kind of friend, he will fully understand. If he's the other kind
of friend, he will use your friendship to cover his own backside. No true
friend will take advantage of a friendship for not only his own personal
gain, but your detriment as well.
