It's funny how people will come through when they are left with no
choice.

I won't tell on the guy, but he can take credit if he wants.

Some station needed a TD-01 card -- a network cue tone decoder card
for the Mutual Radio Network. These thins decoded the Reach Short
(pager) Tones used by Mutual -- Bee-Doop.

He needed it REALLY BAD, or he was going to have to have an operator
at the studio all night. The station did not have a company credit
card, and he didn't want to use his personal one. He told my
technician friend he would fax him a check. My good friend said,
"OK, fax me the check, and I will fax you the card."

Needless to write, he opened the safe that contained his credit cards.

I won't repeat the guy wire repossession story.

The fact is, they often have the money, but they want to use YOUR
money to finance the operation. Why do you think people pay Net 30
bills in 90 days? THEN they cross out and refuse to pay any
interest and any late fees. I know I am not in the bank business
(well, maybe I am to a small extent).
