Frank... is this what was happening with the Superbowl broadcast? When their 
5.1 is coming through simple stereo speakers, the voices of the announcers are 
cancelled? That sure is what it sounded like to my wife and I. Also, the 
crowd noise seemed out-of-phase, thus the "inside the skull" effect. It was *BAD* 
in stereo, but sounded fine in Mono.
