[BC] 3 phase to single phase conversion

I'm about to install a Kay converter at a site that's getting a new BE FM30T
in a couple of months. Like most of these sites, it was simply too far to be
worth it to bring in three-phase from the utility. We're talking something
like $75k or so--the management wasn't interested in that deal.

FWIW, I decided to put the converter in a cabinet outside the building
rather than deal with the additional noise and heat inside. I'm still
waiting on the delivery so I don't have the thing in my possession quite
yet.

Given the relative nearness of our install, I am watching this discussion
about phase converters with interest.
